That would depend on how you water and where you put the water.
Getting wet will not hurt it, but it will wash the band of Diatomaceous Earth away.

Aaron Z

we have a home made pvc drip system, so it does not get washed away, even if it does, it will still be in/on the soil and the critters will still interact with it.

I dont believe in these to make us healthy. What makes us healthy is a well balance of clean water (not sterile), being active, low stress, healthy diet, and humor. Our body is a machine that when fed correctly it will take what you need from the healthy diet and clean water.
It doesn't make sense to take these pills if your eating fried food every meal. Im certainly no expert and I do not practive what I just wrote (wish I did) but we are engineered to eat and live natural....not man made processed junk. Vitamins and such are man made processed junk and who knows what we are getting.

But.....thats me always skeptical when someone tells me "here take this it will make you better" :) My wife is proof that all these creams, vitamins and extracts do nothing for you if you eat junk food-it only serves to empty your wallet.

Well - - even though I'm on limited budget that does not include eating dirt. At least, not yet. However - should it come to that I've got 80 acres of combined glacial silt and volcanic ash - YUM!!

Too bad you are still in AK at the time or you could have bottled up a bunch of Mt St Helens back in the 80s :D
