Any One Else Eat Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth?

My wife used it for years on our goats and horses as a wormer and it worked well. I have been tempted to try it because I would love thicker hair but,,,my gut instinct says use more conventional ways. I am positive that many non-traditional medications work miracles in many different ways and know that pharmaceutical companies bypass these ways due to not being able to patent these formulas to make tons of dollars, but since they aren't spending millions on research on these products, we don't know what the effects are with the various drugs we are taking now. I do believe that natural products, water, honey, fruits, vegetables, butter, etc. are the best foods for us to eat and things like alcohol are not but my resistance is low when it comes to alcohol..........

Let's face it - Xfaxman. You will probably never change the dietary intake of any of these old boys. Too long and hard in the same saddle.

Got the web site to stick. They lie they say proven but offer no proof, just for that reason it goes in the category of snake oil and the study of one here is not sufficient.

The thread title is a question. I expected to get many positive responses.

Was surprised at the negative responses by people that never used it.

All I know is how it helped me. (y)

What about this one: https://knoji.com/article/diatomaceous-earth-part-4-use-by-humans/

What about all the people in the DE forums that have had positive results like I have had?
Are you sure all those other people actually exist. How?
From your site, at the beginning:
"This information is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Discussion of Diatomaceous Earth health

benefits is based solely on personal experience and testimony shared by individual DE users and this company cannot market

or label DE as a human health supplement."

And at the end:
"Content on this site is for reference purposes only, based on reviews from users of diatomaceous earth. It is not intended to substitute for advice given by a physician, pharmacist, or other licensed healthcare professional. User statements regarding this dietary supplement have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or health condition. Those with health problems, pregnancy or who are nursing are specifically advised that they should consult their physician before taking any nutritional supplement.* Any food grade diatomaceous earth uses other than those approved by the EPA, FDA, or USDA are strictly anecdotal reports of what countless numbers of users as well as we ourselves have done with diatomaceous earth."

Xfaxman did you consult with your DR,Pharmacist or other license healthcare professional before self treating? Who determined the dosage? Any interaction with other medications?

It's always a bit odd to read a thread without paying attention to the date, then all of a sudden BAM! "When did I post here?!?"
Given the nature of the thread, a followup by the OP was a good idea. Still, I was wondering the same as TXDon.

My MIL was diagnosed with cancer probably 18 or more years ago. She had friends who had dealt with cancer and had really bad results with the Chemo so she wanted to try an alternative method, which had come recommended to her, that was a more natural way of combating it. It was not approved by the FDA. It had something to do with very high concentrations of vitamin C. and it was a bit expensive and all out of pocket.

She took criticism from friends, church members and her Dr. They all said she was signing her death certificate to not use the traditional methods. She still went with the non-conventional way. She recovered just fine and is still alive and well at 77 years old.

My trust in the FDA and the medical establishment, especially big pharma, has never been lower than it is right now.

Yes.
The same way I know that you actually exist.
Xfaxman did you consult with your DR,Pharmacist or other license healthcare professional before self treating?
Yes, my Doctor.
Who determined the dosage?
I started with one teaspoon two hours after breakfast as recommended.
Any interaction with other medications?
No.
