I mesure the ice about 9 inches thick, my JD 4720 with the tracks weight 3 tons + do you think it's safe ??

But seriously,9 inches would make me a little nervous. You mentioned tracks? Soucy? Mattracks? or similiar? Much better than 4 tires and the pressure points. You must know the lake well? springs, inlet/outlets?

Just wondering but why would you want to remove snow off of your lake or pond.![]()
