Any Pellet Gunners here?

That would be nice but I think way above the $100 range if you are looking for cheap.

I did a little test this morning with my pellet gun shooting Crossman flat nosed pellets at a sheet of 1/2" thick plywood. With the Vaseline in the pellet base, it bulged the back side of the plywood, without the Vaseline, there was no apparent damage in the back. So it does make the pellet gun shoot harder. The shots were from about 4 feet distance.

It's right at $200

I prefer a .22 caliber because a lot of the .177 guns sonic crack and that pretty much defeats the purpose of having a pellet gun.

Heavier pellet may reduce/eliminate the sonic crack. I bought some light weight pellets a while back for my .22 air gun with the intention of trying to get the sonic crack and sure enough they sounded like a real .22 when fired.

Regarding pellets

There is a lot of overlap when it comes to caliber and pellet weight.
A .177 Eunjin can be as heavy as most .22 caliber pellets.

I have a pair of Evanix AR6 pcp rifles. One, .17, the other, .22. The Eunjin pellets work well for both. Both will "crack" when supplied with lighter "Crosman Premiers"

I have a Gammo bone collector, have been very happy with it.

My ALL TIME favorie air rifle was the one I had as a kid, my Benjamin Blue streak, using 5MM pellets. Super accurate with irons.

I think I still have a box of these up at my dads house. NEVER see them anymore. Always use to pick them up at the gas station (which was the towns local hunting shop LOL) from my dads hometown.

Gamo 1000 fps (might be 750fps).22 break barrel Rabbits, local fowls, and a possum (it was real close) Got given a scope and when trying to sight it in was always high and to the left. Went through half a tin of pellets before taking to an expert and found that the barrel was bent. Older model no replacement barrel available, later model barrel wont fit, straightening will be costly (about $150) so now looking at replacing with a new gun including scope for $299.

I'm on my second Sheridan Blue Streak.....20 cal (5MM) They are accurate with iron sights and powerful IMO. The barrel separated on the first one (a 70's model) and the local fixit guy wanted about as much to fix it as a new one cost. Thus the new one was bought........had it about 10 years now. My hands are shaky now and my eyes aren't that good, so this one should last till I'm gone.
