I've seen both the Kubotas and the New Hollands. I have not driven either of them. But from what I see, either will do about the same job. I don't think one is any better than the other. Someone once told me the New Holland's 3 point hitch was a little nicer and would adapt to more attachments. Now that is hearsay as I have no knowledge to back that statement up. Both Kubota and New Holland are good products. Kubota has had sub-compacts longer than New Holland so they may a bit more experience in this area, but New Holland is not a new kid on the block either. If it was me, unless the price was a major difference I would go with the one that you thought had the best dealer. Both of them will have troubles and if your dealer is not there to support you then either one of them is no good. After you get comfortable with a dealer then which one do you feel the most comortable on.
That is where I would go, I would not let any comment here sway you. It's your tractor, your investment go with the one you like the best as it is going to be you driving it the next twenty years.
