When I was talking about transitioning a load outboard of the lower arms I was referring to any clearance in the 8 supporting pins and the tendency of the lower arms to swing away from the load as limited by the anti-sway links. The severity will vary from tractor to tractor depending on clearances and geometry of the 3-point.
