Young carpenter I know starting out on his own was very excited to volunteer to build a deck and ramp for make a wish, next time I saw him he was very discouraged and said he probably wouldn't be doing that again. The client was more concerned about what he could get for free than for his daughter while riding up in his 20K side by side. Even the manager of the project was looking for unused lumber to take home.
