Anyone ever "delete" the dpf on a tractor?

So, I read the first page or two, and the last handful of posts. I know many people who have deleted everything from 5.0 Cummins in a Nissian, to 6.4s, 6.6, and more. I think the damage is often related not so much to the delete, but my the tune. You start trying to run your 400hp at 800hp, something is going to break.

Buddy did his truck, and I'll bet there was 200 lbs worth of crap removed.

My take on it, as in the other thread, if I was having trouble, sure, delete; if things are working fine, I would keep it stock. No way would I spend the money on replacing the damaged emissions stuff, unless you can't find or figure out a work around; OR you have made yourself a target or have employees.

My brother has working for a company that he felt wronged him, when he quit, he sent an anonymous tip to someone that their delivery trucks all had the DPF filters hogged out. No idea if anyone did anything, and didn't feel the need to ask

I don't believe I've ever seen a tractor trailer pulled over by law enforcement.
Don't get out much, do you Citydude???

Stopped quite regularly, just for random inspections. Several states now have sensors built into the road just before you enter the weigh stations, that determine if you have a soft tire, (underinflated). I ran over a engine pushrod, went thru center of tread, and came out the sidewall of the rear axle inside tire. No way I can see that one in my mirror, and I did TWO pretrip inspections before I left Jacksonville, less than 95 miles earlier.
I got pulled into a roadside inspection last month in Alabama, and they were using portable scales. First time in my career that I had been pulled up on portable scales! 44 years of commercial driving and never pulled over and weighed on Portable scales.

IMHO I would not delete the dpf system, perhaps if you
have to take your tractor in to a dealer you may have
FBI making an unwanted visit and that would result in a
much worst case of extreme hemorrhoids

FBI visit over your tractor’s DPF?🙄 That’s silly fear mongering.
