I have had a couple of Edmond Scientific magnets. Kept them on my sailboat to play with on the docks. Mostly found junk or stuff that had become junk. Worked on one spot off and on for several weekends on something that felt very heavy. Finally brought it up and it was a 2 foot long piece of Z-channel that had been torched off. It was right at the end of the covered part of the dock. Another time i spent a while on something big. Turned out to be an old window air conditioning unit.
I was goofing off at work and was able to put the magnet on the bottom of the forks on the forklift and actually lifted a 200 lb co-worker off the ground.

OK, time for the BIG treasure reveal or as I pointed out to my wife, this is NOT simply a collection of random junk but what is best described as my "spoils of war"! Due to her snarky attitude, I will be leaving them to someone more appreciative in my will ! I unfortunately suffered a brain fart and left an impressive collection of Stag beer bottle caps, approx. 10 crappie jigs, a rod holder, and probably the most unusual item, a pair of sweet kitchen tongs on a fishing dock!! What I should mention is that I have also found a total of 3 pieces of sched. 80 pipe approx. 10' in total length and my best find so far, a 500lbs pull magnet!

Anyway, FEAST YOUR EYES!!! Yes, those are approx 85 5/8" galvanized bolts, the same amount of nuts and about 10 each of 1/4" shims and 5/8" washers as well as the lid to an ammo can ....the fruits of "fishing" around a bridge with new guard rails. These were all found around docks and bridges of our nearest lake, next will be 2 lakes just down the road....
