Anyone get the WORM?

I've been fortunate enough to get infected by the blaster worm. I didn't even download anything to get it. It infects users of win2k, NT?, and XP operating systems. Be sure to get the patches from microsoft to keep your pc's from becoming infected. If your pc has been acting strangely lately press control alt del keys at the same time once. Then press button for task manager, then tab for processes. If you see one named msblast.exe then you have been infected.

Phase II of the MSBLAST will kick in this Saturday, August 16th...

All the unsuspecting victims infected will start polling Microsoft's Update site... basically to try to overload/shut it down...

Anyone currently using W2K, NT, or XP... should get "upgraded" and patched before this Sat. events...

These are the files to fix it

"fixblast" will remove it.

"windowsxp-kb823980-x86-enu" This is the patch for windows-xp


do a search for them and down load and run.
