They look very nice. Full independent suspension. The IS 3200 has an available 72" deck and 37 hp EFI engine and a 12mph top speed! Looks like a beast!

With the frost here in NY the suspension is well received for getting a lot of mowing done in a day! That is unless you roll your lawn every year.

I love my Ferris IS700Z and the suspension system does smooth the ride by a lot.

I purchased the 2100z last year. Prior to that I used a lawn tractor (simplicity) and my kubota bx2670.

The simplicity cut great and put nice strips in the lawn, but took a beating with the rough grass.
The Kubota was built like a tank, didn't cut as nice and didn't have suspension.

The Ferris has all of the qualities I needed. Beautiful cut, (Stripes included) suspension, and built like a tank.

I have a Simplicity zero turn, which is a rebranded Ferris. Love it.

I have a 2100 with a 52" deck and an air seat.

I miss my Ferris. I blew out a cylinder, and was too darn stubborn to just replace the motor. I got a Snapper Pro (same company that makes Ferris), but it has been grief looking for somewhere to occur. Several rebuilds/problems with the hydraulics. I can only speculate that they are NOT the same as used on the Ferris.

I just bought the IS3200 with the briggs 37 hp and 72" ICD deck. I am very happy. Cut my mowing (with Kubota BX 23, 60" deck) from 6 hours to 2.5 hours with better results. With th 72" deck I would want no less than the the 37 HP. The suspension rocks. I have have the suspension seat on order, but even with the standard seat it was night and day. Best purchase I've made. My balls and back so appreciate the suspension. I can't wait to add the suspension seat. But even without the Ferris suspension makes a huge difference.

I cut my mowing time in half plus--6 hours last week, 2.5 this week. I had a JRCO de-thatcher installed and it worked great. It broke loose a lot of last years discharge that was plugging the lawn. The ferris diid a great job. I bought the 72" deck with the 37hp Briggs EFi w/ oil guard. I would not do less engine with the 72" in the northeast. One mow with the dethatcher changed my world.

I am considering the same machine with the the 61" deck and Oil Guard which it appears you have also. Would you mind PM'ing me the price you were able to negotiate if you are not comfortable with posting it here? Thanks!

I payed $10,846 plus tax for the 37 hp efi with the oil guard and 72" deck and the suspension seat and rear hitch. I used the 48 month 0% financing from Sheffield which had a $50 fee. I hope this helps. Another dealer couldn't believe the deal so I think I did ok.

Funny here everyone else was 11500 or higher with the suspension seat upgrade. But pricing dies very regionally. Great deal.

9,999 plus tax. Not much negotiation on these. My dealer can't keep them in stock.

The suspension seat is a Milsco mechanical. Milsco makes an airseat (V5400) that is the identical seat, but with air suspension that bolts right up (you'll need to wire 12 volt ground and positive to the battery).

For those who are interested, I started a thread on lawn mower seats when I began looking into them.

You guys aren't helping my mower buying fever. I really need to stop looking at this thread especially the picture of that IS2100.

Just purchased a 14+ acre property in December. Am currently mowing around 2 acres around the house with a 48" deck - time to do this is not bad. But would like to mow all 14 acres. It's an established home place and would look very nice mowed. Currently I'm using a Kubota L2550 non-hydro with a 5' squealer on the remaining land. I've started my first cutting and so far have 6 hours on the clock with probably 2 more to go to finish. I'd like to cut at least once a month. At the rate I'm going I'll have to start again on the front by the time I'm finished with the back. Sounds like a zero turn could really shorten this down considerably.

I'm gravitating toward the Ferris. I actually test drove the IS3200Z this week. Really like the suspension and the potential to make it even better with air-ride.

I'm torn between the 60" and 72" deck. The land is mostly flat and I'm not worried about scalping. But I do have lots of trees and obstacles around the house where a 72" deck might be too much. Also, if I have to go slower with the 72" vs the 60", would I be gaining? Not to mention getting a 72" on a trailer if I ever have to mow another property. Eldo, any regrets on the 72? Anyone with a 60" wish they had 72"?

Here's a picture of the property. Green outline which is fenced is where I currently mow. The yellow is what I'm cutting with the tractor. What would you guys advise?
