Anyone have a LED dusk to dawn pole light?

I went to Home Depot for a 3 way light bulb. $18 for 1 LED, or $8 for 2 baby polar bear killers. I can't believe their are ijuts buying this stuff. Home Depot has them wrapped around their finger. Bunch of LEDs up high, and two choices of incandescent on the bottom shelf.

It would be interesting to know the mark up. Sometimes you have to decrease the mark up on the more expensive item to sell it, you have to know peoples price points. In this case I doubt it.

I haven't converted my 3 ways to LED yet, because of price, and the equivalent wattage on them is so low.

But $12/2. I have never bought 16 pack of bulbs before. By the time I get to the 3 Rd one will fund out they cause cancer and the next best thing will be out, and will have given them to goodwill, cause they are so expensive to use.

You can send them to me.

I have never bought 16 pack of bulbs before.

I buy anything I can in bulk to save a buck or two. Just today I purchased a 12 pack of the same cheapo safety glasses as is sold at TSC for $3.99. I paid $13.50 in total, including shipping to my door, a little over a buck a piece. I have no immediate need for that many pairs of safety glasses, but I'll not need to buy more for a very long time and I'll always have a pair handy.

My pre-civil war era farm has two houses and poor grid power (I'm the last service on a very long run). I have had to change the same lightbulb twice in a week before during the stormy season. I've been switching over to LED when I catch them on sale. I've had none fail yet. A 16 pack should give me almost enough to switch all my other lights and lamps over as the incandescents fail.

You should call the power company. They will usually send out a guy to look at low voltage. Mention writing a letter to the public service commission if you have to.

Also no a bad idea have house inspected. Check for loose connections.

I am not sure low voltage would cause bulb to fail, more likely over voltage. Personally I would be nervous with expensive bulbs.

I used to rehab old houses, you can run new cable to old outlet. Put in cut in boxes. Obviously it is easy to spend someone else's money.
