I bought this Kioti used and the previous owner included several implements including this snow plow. He didn't have the grapple as I purchased it afterward. The hydraulics are run from one of the 2 rear ports to the loader. When I connected the grapple I experienced a leak in both quick connects. I changed both to one ways and the grapple now works with no leaks. I just don't understand how this plow works with 2 cylinders and only one line to each cylinder on the plow. I'm thinking that they'll both be pushing and it won't angle. Will I need to go to 2 way quick connects? If so I think running 2 more lines from the other 2 rear ports and dedicating them to this plow may be easier than changing the quick connects whenever I need to change the implements. I don't really understand the quick connects I guess.

The plows two cylinders act together like the one cylinder on the grapple, one gets pressure and extends, the other is pushed closed and returns oil , my Kwikway plow works the same way

Can I just plug the lines (with new male connectors) into the existing quick connectors or do I need to back to the quick connect females without the check valves?

Just looking at my Kwickway, the cylinders are double acting but crossed to each other on the incoming hose sides, sorry for any confusion
I think your setup was designed for one cylinder to push back on the other, but that would depend on how the tractor remote valve works

Your terminology is a bit confusing.
Looking at your pictures, and guessing a bit;
your grapple is controlled by one of your rear remotes using the tractors quick connects for one rear control valve.
When you operate your grapple you are opening it by activating the rear remote in one direction, then to close it you are activating that same remote in the other direction. Is this correct?
If so then simply adding quick connects to the plow cylinders and connecting the cylinders to the two quick connects your grapple uses and it will work just fine.
Activating your remote in one direction will apply fluid to one cylinder extending it as it extends it will push the other cylinder to retract sending that cylinders fluid back to the tractor through that line, Activating your rear remote in the other direction will reverse the flow.

I am confused by what you are referring to as the check valves in the quick connects;
are you refering to the ends of the male couplers?

Or the corresponding parts in the female coupler.

When I replaced the coupler there was one that said 2 way and the other said nothing. I assumed that the 2 way would allow oil to go in both directions and the other had some sort of a check valve to only allow the oil to go in one direction.

I guess ill just hook it up and see what happens.

In this picture one cylinder is alway being pushed out (extended) and by the pivot the opposing cylinder is in compression forcing it into retract position.... It's all controlled by the valve assembly....

I run both my grapple & plow on the rear remotes, don’t have any type of check valves

Okay thanks. Sounds easy enough.
