I wanted a 40 HP Massey with cab a few years ago but found MF only offered the factory cab on the 3 cylinder 33 horse - and then again on the four cylinder 48 horse. The turbo on the 40 horse is positioned where an AC pump would sit was the explanation. So I bought the open 40 and ordered a Curtis cab from the dealer. With the hot water heater it's plenty warm in the winter and I take the doors off in the summer. My front work lights do get whacked out of line occasionally but no big deal.

When I was younger we didn't need no fancy cabs with AC for the Summer and Heaters for the winter. Back then women liked a man that smelled of dust and pollen not these fancy man perfume body sprays. We endured the scorching heat, survived the freezing cold and ate bees like they were Tic Tacs and WE LIKED IT!!!

I have to say I do like the ability to get on or off my tractor from either side. But if someone gave me a cab I could get used to the longer walks around the front or back...:laughing:

i have no issues getting out of my cab on either side. The loader controls dont get in the way.

Is that just Kioti that does two doors? I guess I've never bothered to really look at a cabbed tractor lately. I just remember the ones from the 80's that seemed to only have one door.

i test drove Kioti,, TYM, JD and Kubota and all 4 had 2 doors.
