Recently I needed to buy a second stage propane regulator so I go to my propane supplier and the nice girl at the counter shows them to me. She must have mentioned 90 degree vs straight through at least 4-5 times. I reassured her I wanted the straight through.
I bought it and took it home. A few days later (today) I go to install it and yup... I need the 90 degree model. I hop in truck and drive by the location where my wife is cutting cedar saplings in a fence row and tell here where I am going. I pull out on th highway and notice I forgot to bring the unit I'm returning.
Turn around and drive to house, get unit, drive by wife (again) and was pleased to note she didn't look up and wonder what the senile old codger was up to now...
Installed it leak free and now wonder why it is taking so long to get the pilot to light. Sure, have to displace the air from the lines but only a total of 2-3 feet. Pilot finally lit but flame is too small to allow pilot to stay lit if I turn lose of the depressed pilot off on knob.
