Does anyone have experience with land survey apps...? I’ve read about “Theodolite”, but need a specific function... I’ve got two turn points, and need to walk between them and be able to tell when I cross that property line...

So I installed “BaseMap” and walked out to the property line... it shows a green dot with arrow as I walk around and it’s within 10 ft of accuracy.... as I’m on the SE border of our town lot... plan to try it at the farm tomorrow...

I commented on the other thread to but I am a land surveyor. I feel the need to comment on this one. There is nothing wrong with using an app like this if used for the right reasons. You wouldn’t want to use it to build anything, say a building or a fence. You might think you have 10 feet accuracy, but for a lot of reasons it might be worse than that.
No disrespect meant to DodgeMan, but I believe you want a title attorney for the answers you are looking for. Unless you want somebody to actually look at your lines, then the D-Man is your man!

Some attorneys are good at reading deeds but not many. I will interpret deeds for people and explain them if possible. It’s pretty rare anyone asks for it though, they usually want it surveyed to. Probably just a few hundred dollars to figure a deed out, if it’s simple I will often do it for free. I’m not licensed in Tennessee by the way.
