Haven't trie Walker ear buds but big fan of their muffs. Even bought my wife the pink ones. :D

I'd rather have the ear buds but those are way over my price range and I'd buy the muffs if the band went behind the neck, so guess I'll still use regular ear plugs and wait for the next best thing.......

I will never forget firing an AR 10 here, back in the 80s. One guy present was a Toronto SWAT officer. He just shoved a couple of expended 7.6mm casings in his ear canals. Never seen anyone do that since.

I've seen it done with pistol cartridges.

After the shooting in Texas with the nut job who bought a rifle FTF, expect guns to go up just for the fact that the government will probably intervene and stop state private FTF sales and you'll have to go through a FFL now.

I gave up AR's long time ago. The REASON to get into AR's is / WAS the pricing. THAT'S exactly why I started buying them again. Been pleasantly surprised as well with PSA and spending a little more on a good trigger. Good trigger makes all the difference IMO.

Good trigger's make the firearm enjoyable, if I buy something with a bad one it gets replaced quick.. State FTF sales will be a thing of the past pretty quick... I have to say I'm not really against the FFL transfer for private sales, I have in fact met people to purchase a firearm from me and lie to me right from the get go..

Out of state felons come here all the time claiming to be ME residents when actually they live in NY, NJ etc and are felons. They tell you on the phone they have a valid ME DL and you meet them and they try to skip over the part of showing it to me, that doesn't go with me and I have stopped selling firearms period to anyone unless they agree to an FFL transfer at my local shop..

FTF sales are an easy way for the wrong people to buy firearms and they will come to a state like ME because it's easy pickings.. If someone needs heating oil and can't afford it in December, they don't care about seeing a DL, they will take the money and not care and that's not good..

If I'm selling a gun, a copy of your state DL as well as "seeing" your CCW permit along with a invoice of the sale including model and serial number is required (copy to both parties). Done it that way with numerous LEO's as well, never an issue. Everything above board and the selling is only covering his butt, which makes common sense to me.

Agreed.. The problem comes when someone is desperate for money, they are less apt to care..

They would still do it in that case. And if the gun is found to have been used in a crime it will come back to bite them. If they bought it from an FFL. If not they will certainly just do it anyway. FTF is already not allowed here. I do think if they have a CCW and a DL that matches it should be allowed.

What do the words "shall not be infringed" mean?
