I've tried a lot of headlights over the years and while they may have changed by now, never worked for me. Headlights are in the wrong place for field work and cast shadows or are blocked by loaders, grill guards, etc. The same with lights pointing forward on the ROPS
I've found that adding light off the front weight bracket really lights things up for me. Low to the ground. Also lights higher up but aimed forward at an angle from the tractor works. Up high and pointed rearward works fine on the ROPS.
Here's an old pic of Stone Age lights on my lawnmower but you get the idea. I hooked hot to the battery, put an inline fuse and then toggle switches on the lights. That way I don't have to run a mess of wires and drill holes. I've done threads on this if you search for it.
