What I was trying to do, was to grab a picture, which I did ,from PT's web site, and explode it to full screen, and use Imageshack to paste it in the post. I didn't know the screen shot would post every thing on the screen, but I guess screenshot means just that. The way I got the picture so big was by holding the Ctrl key while rolling the mouse. This procedure will shrink or expand what ever is on the screen. I will just have to practice more until I get it right.

Most of you know that the print screen key does not function as a print screen any more, it is a carry over from DOS. How ever it is still usable, how, I am not exactly sure. Does anyone know if this key saves the screen into the clipboard. I am using Win XP with IE 7. I like it OK, but is there something better, and reliable.

ALT+ PRINT SCREEN grabs a snapshot of the active window and puts it in your clipboard.

CTRL + PRINT SCREEN gabs a snapshot of your entire desktop and puts it in your clipboard.

You may like this utlity form Gadwin. It is a pretty neat FREE screen print utility that I have used for a couple years here and there.

I don't mind, but my thoughts are, that if the Mac was so good, there should be a lot of them out there. Most retail stores only have a small area for the Mac/Apple products. How ever, it could be that it is the better system, but people just don't realize that fact.
How to judge a better product??? Here's my opinion based on my experience from 20 or so years of supporting computers for a living (that's how I earn my bacon).

If we go by volume sales, PCs are pretty successful compared to Macs.

If we go by hardware reliability, our Macs fail just as often as our PCs. Keyboards, mice, hard drives and monitors are pretty universal between the two.

Contrary to poplular belief, the Mac OS gets hosed once in a while, too, just like a PC.

We have 3-4 hundred PCs and 30 or so Macs. There's a reason for that. PCs for average work at our place cost 1/3 the price of a Mac. Our PCs do the grunt work and Macs do the pretty looking artsy-schmartsy stuff.

Creative people like Macs. Sometimes we force them to use PCs. Guess what? They still get the work done.

Anyhow, that's just my observation. Both devices have their place, just like any tool.

Yes, both have their place. Suppose your job was to use a tractor all day, swapping implements along the way. Would you rather it was a PT? Maybe you would not care, since as long as you get your time in, your paycheck is the same. So what if management gave you the worst POS made, that takes you hours to drop off a mower deck and pick up a bucket. As long as you get paid for your time, why complain? Management sees you working, so all is good. You get paid.

Before I retired, I was given the machines that management chose for me to use - sometimes Macs, PCs, UNIX boxes. When I had a choice, I took a Mac. Did I get work done? Yes. (Actually, I did most of my development at home anyway, on my Mac. Time at work was time spent at meetings anyway.) Employees will use what they are forced to use. Remember, they get paid to show up for work.

On my own time, why would I use a PC just because lots of other people are too foolish to know the difference between it and something better? Groups of people are like sheep. They will follow the rest of the flock, even if they are to end up as lamb stew.

Say a Mac costs a few hundred dollars more? Spread that cost over several thousand hours of usage. I've probably got 5000 hours on my current CPU now. For my own use, there is no comparison. How about on the job? My salary was roughly $100k as mathematician. I'll guess another $50k more for benefits, etc. If I could have worked 1% more efficiently on a Mac, it would seem to have paid off. And if that made me a happier employee in my time at work, do you think it might have been a smart choice?

I am sorry I kidded around. I did not mean to start a long discussion. I apologize. My guess is that most people do not want to clutter up the discussion of PT's with discussions about computers.

We could talk hydro VS gear trannies, dino VS synthetic oil, R4 VW R1 tires, too! :D

Lots of subjects with lots of opinions. :)

When they are "forced" to use a PC it is most likely because their Mac has died. ;)

Also, we are a deadline based company. We would know if people were goofing off or non productive. Fortunately, I can only recall two people that were slackers in the last 20 years and got the boot for it. We have a great group of people dedicated to their craft and they do get the best tools that we can afford to give them.
