4n1 and mini hoe are amazing!

4n1 has been used for:
ripping out blackberries
ripping out fencing
stockpiling waste piles
loading waste into pickup
rough grading
carrying big rocks around
back blading grade (not the best, but it works somewhat)
loading/spreading drain rock

mini hoe:
digging trenches (yawn, everybody does that!)
removing old concrete from post holes (along with the boom with a chain)
carrying/moving rocks (a thumb would definitely help)
ripping out fencing
I'm going to attempt to dig some post holes with it soon. I hope it works! Has anyone else done it?

boom:
So far, moving heavy woodworking equipment - the forks are also helpful here

light mat'l bucket:
moving 20 yards of dirt in 3 hours. WOW! gotta love it. My wheelbarrow is getting rusty!

forks:
moving stuff! Ah, my back never felt better!

mower
taking up a bunch of space in my garage!

Wheelbarrow? Oh yeah, I remember those. In fact I think there is one sitting out back near the cart with the stone wheels.

Things seem a little slow, so I thought I would bring this to the top. Does anyone have any new unusual uses for attachments.

I planted over a hundred fruit and nut trees this spring, which turned into the worst drought in 45 years, I had to haul water and I used the small bucket to haul a 55 gallon drum on its side. I lashed it in with some of those ratchet straps. I could only haul about 40 gallons per trip as when the drum is on its side it can not be filled completely and, also, it is not possible to get all the water out by tipping the buccket.

Smartguyz,

I couldn't get the pictures of your sprayer to open.

I have 82 acres of pasture that need spraying bad and I was thinking about mounting a sprayer on the forks.

What kind of spray rig do you have? Do you use a spot sprayer (hose) or a boom type? If you have a boom does the front mounting cause any problems with the spray drifting back on the driver?

I was putting in 4 culvert pipes today and I decided to use the boom pole to carry them. My previous method was to tie them to the minhoe. The boom pole was a whole lot easier. The pipes were a little over 6 feet long. I bought a 20 foot pipe and had the store cut it in thirds. I also moved an existing pipe that was too small for the creek it was in to another location.
See attached picture.

Good use for that boom!!! I wish I had somebody around to snap a pic of my "balamcing act" when I carried 2 16' sections of old telephone poles across my property straddled across the rock bucket!! Made the trips without dropping them!!

Here are some pics of a 4' diameter x 12' culvert I purchased and installed. The weight was no problem, but the size and length made placing it a challenge.

All went well & project is done.

Well, I have another "unusual use" that the PT as it came to the rescue this week-end. I was taking Rocky(our St. Bernard) over to his dog house Sunday morning when I noticed a snake under the dog house. It looked like a rattler but I wasn't sure so I tried to drag him out with a long handled shovel but he got away and disappeared under the dog house. I sent my friend who happened to be visiting into the house for the 20 ga. shotgun while I went for the PT and bucket. Slipped the edge of the bucket under the dog house and slowly lifted high enough to see the snake and any other buddies that might be hiding under there...well, there was only 1 but it was indeed an eastern rattler and I'm happy to say a dead one now! Was only a young one(barely 34" long and only 1 "button")...sure glad the PT was there because I'm not sure how safely we could have manually lifted the house to resolve the delima! I can say my friend has a new found respect for living in the country and for the PT!

I think the stump grinder or the trencher would also have been useful attachments in that case. After the dog house was removed. Man I hate snakes. More than once our pyrenees has returned to the back door with a "moving stick" in his mouth. We have learned it is best to check for hidden contents prior to letting him inside.
