My wife and 16 year old and 14 year old daughters can. And yes they get a lot of tractor time! LUTT

I never had an issue hooking up the 3 PH when on the farm in NE Louisiana, but now that I am in Arkansas, it is a PIA. Nowhere on my property is there a level spot to park an implement. I have to hook up on a hill that is sloping side to side and from front to back so each time it take some adjustment to the 3 PH level side to side and then after hooked up, I have to take it to my slab to level it back again. Such a pain which is why implements stay attached forever until I need to swap.
A quick hitch might work much better but likely would require modification to all the equipment to make them match up. Such is lifes little problems. At least if I have a real problem with one of them, I have a brother in law next door that will be a ground man for alignments. Getting on and off of my LS P7010 is a pain being as it is so high. Telescoping lower links help but they aren't the total answer.

Maybe A new project is needed, land leveling a section for implement storage and then it would be much better.

Gary, I have a 30x30 flat spot, clay graveled where I keep mine. It helps a lot for sure. I wouldn't put a quick hitch on mine cause it would be something else to take off when I hook up the backhoe. LUTT

3/4" PVC pipe section with a 2 inch elbow glued on the end. Makes a light weight "reach stick" with the elbow fitting over the operating lever and allows you to push or pull on the lever. Ditto the warning about being able to operate the lift while standing in a potential hazard zone.

I put all (except for light weight back blade) my 3ph implements on castors or dollies (with castors). The bush hog has a 2by6 plank with 3 castors underneath each side and little angle irons to keep it from sliding off the ends. The carryall has a pallet attached to its bottom part and has castors underneath it. The chipper/shredder sides on a little rectangular dolly with castors underneath it. When I had my soil ripper, it sat on a pallet with castors underneath it (it was really too heavy for the pallet though; bent it).

The castors MUST be steel. Plastic won't do.

Just connect the left side lift arm and then go around and connect the right side one, loosening it if necessary to correct its height. It's easy.

What you're talking about doing with your hydraulics sounds dangerous. The lift arms can be easily lifted by hand if dropped to their lowest point or from the point where they are.

My most used implements are homemade and non standard so a quick hitch would not be much help. I have a weight assembly that is my most common summer 3pth tool so when I remove it to install the hoe I just hook it to a chain hanging from the woodshed beam and lower the 3pth until the chain has the weight, then pull the pins. When it goes back on the chain lets me swing it into place.

I put all of my frequently used attachments on dollies on 5" hard-rubber casters. (I got this great dolly idea from TBN posters.) This includes the 4N1 bucket and the grapple for the FEL, and most of my 3PH attachments. I also have Pat's quick-connect system. Plus I have the benefit of a shed with a concrete floor. It is very easy to roll the attachment into place, position it so that when the FEL SSQA or the 3PH lift arms are raised they properly connect, etc. I am out of town as I post this or I would post some pics to show this system. It works great for hook-ups and also helps with storage space because you can move the attachments around so easily.

I agree that a dolly makes attaching an implement much easier. This is the one for the 6' box blade.

Rippers down.
