Automatic bandsaw max feed lengths

I'm looking at this bandsaw. When an automatic bandsaw is advertised as having a 0"- 24" feed stroke, does that mean the max length it can cut automatically is 24"? What do you do when you need longer pieces?

At work we have a saw that will take multiple grips to cut pieces longer than the feed stroke. But if the saw is boasting a certain length on the feed axis, then it might be limited.
How does it fees the stock? Moving vise? Roller feed?

I think that's when someones gotta get off there chair and go manually lock the longer piece in the vise and manually start the saw...or buy a different saw!!
