I bought a used B7100 HST about 3 months ago and so far I am happy with the tractor; it is a real work mule. The only
thing I've found wrong so far is a small hydro leak at the valve assembly under the seat and the rear axle hubs have a lot of slack in them. It appears that they are just worn and have more slack than when new. I've tried tightening the clamp bolt but the slack is actually on the outside of the hub. I looked at the hubs used on the 7500 and like the way it uses a wedge to clamp down tight. Can anyone tell me if the new style will fit on my 7100?

Dennis,
Is your rear axle hexagon shape and is there a set bolt also pin on your B7100?
I would check those first for wear before purchasing new hubs.
I'm not sure of the cost for new hubs would be,but you might save $$ at a darn good machine shop.

Take care and stay /w3tcompact/icons/cool.gif

Dennis, I had the same problem. The tractor I bought was owned by a school district. They changed oil and filters, and that was the extent of the maintenance. The hubs were so loose that I tried to put a .025" shim in it. That was a no go, so I put a pipe on the breaker bar and they snugged right up.
