I was wondering how much work my B2910 could do. I know that the B7500, B2410, B27-2910 are similar. What are some projects that you have done with your B series? I am mostly interested in digging projects. How much digging can they do? Just getting some ideas of what I can take on. Pretty open topic. Just looking for some ideas and stories.

Thanks,
David

I have a 2710. My number one use is brush hogging with a 5ft cutter. I have 2 creek branches that I have made 3 crossings on with the tractor. Thats pretty fun and you get to dig a lot with the loader. Move a lot of dirt, gravel, and rocks with the loader. With bucket forks, I have moved tons of brush. Filled up the bucket with water and watered trees. Spread dirt and gravel and maintained my 800 foot drive with box blade. Plowed acres with tandem disk, spread seed and fertilizer with spreader. Dug post holes with post hole digger.
Etc etc etc etc......

I have a B2410 and todate... I have dug a 12x18x4.5 deep pond in the backyard, moved sufficent field stone to cover it as well as dug/cleared a 15 ft wide path about 300 feet.. Also if you remember the Valentine's day Snow we had, if it wasnot for the 2410, me and the wife would have had to go back to Puerto Rico until late March when our 250 ft + drive way would have cleared. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I'm using my 2910 for mowing, bush hogging, and firewood duties primarily, and I'm also building a berm behind my shoot range out of tree's that are log jammed in the river behind our house. I've made a nice berm so far that's about 5-5 1/2 foot tall and about 10-15 feet across at the base. I'm going to cover it will fill dirt as soon as I locate a good supply. It's amazing to me how easily the 2910 will pull these fairly big tree trunks out of the river. (traction was the biggest issue until the R4's arrived).

Have a goood one,
Dave

Tractor Teen,

I just completed moving a sand hill in my backyard. I had to dig out 3 large tree stumps as well. The hill measured 60Lx40Wx4D. I moved all that sand to the front of the house to reduce the grade in our front lawn and open up the backyard for more usable space.

The digging in sand was fairly easy but it was much easier on the tractor when I used the Ag tires. I have R4s as well. I use the R4s when I don't need to dig. I don't have a tooth bar.

The project took a long time. But that little tractor did it with no complaints. My typical engine speed was about 1900. Also, I have a box scraper with a deck on it. After loading the deck with rock, the 3 pt is carrying its maximum. That helps a lot with the digging.
