I was going to suggest that too, except easytractor said the front wheels wouldnt turn even when they were hanging in the air. That must be a very burnt out set of clutches to have no grip at all! But if you've already taken yours apart twice I'd reckon you know what you are talking about.

You're right, even toasted they should transmit some power. That leaves a backed off pinion nut or a stripped driveshaft the way I see it. The Bi-Speed unit may be different on the 1750 as compared to my 2400 also. I'm thinking the 1750 uses a normal ring and pinion whereas the 2400 uses a similar but more compact bevel drive. This may make some difference as to how your Bi-Speed transmission works.
