B2150 w/Mower Opinion/Pricing Info

Hello,
New to this website but found it thru some recommendations of friends.

I am looking to purchase a compact tractor. I am staying in the used market for now mainly because I don't want to take out a loan.

I drove by a local dealer and he has a Kubota B2150 there with mid mount mower. He was closed for today so I won't be able to talk to him until monday but was wondering anyone's thoughts on this mower.

It was 4x4 with HST. THe previous owner setup on the left fender a dual spool valve to provide rear remotes. Apparently he used something back there needing that.
everything appeared to be in good condition. No major dents but of course the wear and tear of a used vehicle. it had 1973 hours showing.

Thats all I really got so far.

Can anyone tell me a rough price? any questions I need to be asking.

I plan on buying an FEL eventually for it to use here on our farmette. WE have 15 acres and really need an odds and ends machine. We are planning to have some farm animals and need to put up fence and clean the barn... That type of work.

Obviously I would mow the yard with the belly mower! We do have some hilly slopes on the property.

Can anyone advise on the stability of the machine?

I forgot to mention that I will also be wanting to get a 5 or 6 foot brush hog to mow about 10 acres per year or so.

My guess would be $6-7000. 2000 hours is fairly well "broken in" /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif.

Keep in mind the FEL will be about $3K.

Of course, you have to see what kind of warranty the dealer will have, and if he will cut a deal on the FEL and brushog.

I am also an Electrical Engineer. I am in Bedford County PA.

I was hoping that since the hours were a bit high the price would be a bit low! Optimistic anyway!
