LarJea -- agree ! My Bora brand spacers are made by the same company -- Motorsport. I got 6" spacers and they make the B2150 safe versus unsafe on a moderaterly steep (40%) slopes. I'm a little surprised that 2 1/2" spacers made all that much difference.

@rrasi Did you end up buying wheel spacers, and if so, which one did you go with?

I need to purchase some before the snow flies, so I can install chains.

Kubota BX series is 5 on 4.5" so it would be a match to the Jeep Wrangler TJ 1997-2006 model. Northridge 4x4 has those ready to ship for around $100 a pair.

I run the 2" wide 5x5" on my 2014 JK with 37"x13.5" tires and have had them on for 4 years now with hard core rock crawling, no problems. I also run 2" spacers on my 650HP Cobra that runs bias 27"x10" drag radials turning 10.9 second quarters... no problems.

Does the B Series have a bolt pattern that is also common to some pickup truck where you can buy mass produced and inexpensive spacers from 4WheelParts or similar that are well proven on lifted trucks? The BX model is easy to solve, maybe the B is as well?

Bro-Tek sells spacers made of aluminum, but wouldn't steel spacers that are 2" thick be better/stronger, and doesn't the wheel get bolted to the aluminum spacer, if so then wouldn't the wheel bolts strip out the aluminum threads?

There are no aluminium threads. The factory studs pass through the aluminium spacer with the nuts Torque at 95 ft/lb after first cleaning studs and nuts with brake clean, then assembling with red locktite. Then, the aluminium side has wheel studs in it that are offset from the holes that the factory studs came through. These studs are normal steel studs, just like your factory ones. You mount the wheels to these studs after cleaning and applying locktite.
