B2630 B3030 Turf tire

I'm not sure we're talking about the same tires. This is impossible that the same tractor with the same tires are so different.

Here's a close up of my turf tires: Multi Trac CIZ Titan 13.6-16.

Here's another view. If the "round" profile doesn't look like that on yours, it means you don't have the right tires.

I have the same tires as you do. Are yours filled? Mine are, might that make a difference? Again, at rest my tires are hard against the fender. With a load in the rear, thats when the real rubbing begins.

Now that I look again at your photo and at my tires, my sidewalls bulge out much more than yours do. Maybe overinflated? Can I check the tire pressure with the tires filled? When I tried, the Ballast Star material came shooting out.

My tire are not filled and the pressure is 14 PSI. The mechanic at my dealer told me to stay at 14, no more.

I have no experience with filled tires. sorry

With rear tires at 14 PSI and I have 3/16" space. (not filled)

Here is a closeup on the clearance between the fenderwell and turf (B2630/ 13.6-16 Turfs)

I doubt there is a 1/4 inch space there. Forget about chains without using some kind of spacer.

This is a shot of my B3030 on the lot with R4s. There is a good 1.5 to 2 inches space.

The tire pictured seems to be overinflated. On the second pic, we can see that the top of the tire is very round (too much IMO). Do you know the pressure?

I would agree - it does look over inflated but the dealer said that was the style of that tire. The tire was naturally round like that. Sorry - I don't know the pressure. I'm told they tried to mount the more squared turf tires and it rubbed so they went with the rounded model.

I saw some nice turfs on a B7800 that were more squared but the tire didn't have as aggressive treads - they weren't as deep. Sorry no pics of that one.

The turfs on that B2630 shown really set the tractor up a bit. I bet it lifts it at least 4 inches.

I was looking at my manual last night and there are different sized rear sizes listed. I think it was 12.4-16 for R4s and 13.6-16 for turfs. The turfs I saw on the B2630 were 13.6-16.

I'm no tire expert - I'm just making observations.

I don't understand why some dealers have difficulties because I have turf on my B3030 and it's ok.
