Price Check B2630 quote

Guys, I have been reading alot about tractors here. I am about to buy my first
tractor. I just got a quote of $19,500 on a B2630, FEL, woods 4ft brush cutter. I am not sure about the price. MSRP for the tractor and FEL is $20,755 according to the kubota website. I am in Louisiana. Is this reasonable? If I guess the cutter is about $1500 then price drops to $ $18,000. That is only $2,755 below sticker.

I think that quote is a little high depending on the actual price of the brush cutter. Call Brady Barlow at Barlow Equipment in Kentucky and he can quote you a bottom dollar price and will also deliver for a very reasonable price should you decide to buy from him, however he won't pressure you to buy from him. I just had a B2630 delivered last week from them and I am very pleased.

Thanks for the reply. I plan on getting another quote first thing in the morning. I have read alot about Mr. Barlows and considering contacting him. I was really wanting to do buisness here.

Yes, I can sympathize with your want to do business locally, as I tried to do the same thing before purchasing from Barlows. However, in my case the local dealer backed down from their agreement to match Barlow's price, and since Brady had been so helpful in answering all my questions and not pressuring me, it was a no-brainer to give him the business after that.

Let me know if you have any questions on the B2630, perhaps I can give you some purchase tips from my experience. :thumbsup:

Hey, Just keep us posted about the B2630, I am from Winnfield LA, and would like to trade up my B23. I am working in KY now, and may even get a chance to visit Barlows next weekend.

Will do. If you are in KY I would definitely go by Barlows. I am still getting some quotes locally. I'll let you know.

Where in Louisiana are you? I Went to the 3 in the Baton Rouge area and didn't like any of them, One would only quote sticker, couldn't get a price out of one, and the last one kept shot some numbers off the top of his head and kept trying to sell me something different, and was selling attachments at full sticker or above
I made a trip to Beaumont Tractor, the sales guy there was very help full had what i wanted in stock and had it ready when i drove down to pick it up. (i saved about 5k over the best deal i could get locally.

Well, I am going by to talk to another dealer. He has been pretty good with his pricing but he is more than Barlows.
