Dont you wonder about the wisdom of using 4WD on a concrete surface ??

That was a different issue. The front tires separated from the rims when scooping up snow..very common occurance with any tractor without tubes...that happens with my B2710 and B7800 when plowing deep snow in a sharp turn. Tubes installed....no longer an issue. What do you do? Just look at your tractor in a barn?
Kubota's owner manual always specifies Lo Gear. 4 WD when transporting loads in your FEL. Concrete or dirt. You however, cannot change rim and tire dimensions.....that will destroy your HST in 4 WD.
Bads news was that the replacement ring gears had random fissures in the teeth too, before use. I like the design of the Mahindra front 4WD axle. It's well desined, but I have no experience with it. Becareful out there and investigate any front end klunking immediately. There are guys on this board
that have mentioned the problem, and went to their Kubota Dealers only to be told to ignore it a the 4WD functions. As an A&P, we routinely X-Ray turbine blades and wheels.
So you had a tire pressure issue on the fronts loosing air pressure. This would have changed the ratio of lead and lag putting extra stress on the drive components.
