Nobody is bashing Kubota......it is a valid safety issue that Kubota needs to address. They know about it.

Dont you wonder about the wisdom of using 4WD on a concrete surface ??

Kubota's owner manual always specifies Lo Gear. 4 WD when transporting loads in your FEL. Concrete or dirt. You however, cannot change rim and tire dimensions.....that will destroy your HST in 4 WD.

Bads news was that the replacement ring gears had random fissures in the teeth too, before use. I like the design of the Mahindra front 4WD axle. It's well desined, but I have no experience with it. Becareful out there and investigate any front end klunking immediately. There are guys on this board
that have mentioned the problem, and went to their Kubota Dealers only to be told to ignore it a the 4WD functions. As an A&P, we routinely X-Ray turbine blades and wheels.

That was a different issue. The front tires separated from the rims when scooping up snow..very common occurance with any tractor without tubes...that happens with my B2710 and B7800 when plowing deep snow in a sharp turn. Tubes installed....no longer an issue. What do you do? Just look at your tractor in a barn?

So you had a tire pressure issue on the fronts loosing air pressure. This would have changed the ratio of lead and lag putting extra stress on the drive components.

It probably won't get to the hydro for damage as there are other links involved on the drivetrain that might fail long before that load will get to the hydro. Some of those links also are involved in the front end as well as the driveshaft to it! Lead lag ratios are critical to not damage drive systems in tractors and to run tires that might be to soft would mean that the rears are pushing the fronts on hard ground with traction at it's best.

For the speed of a turbine on an air craft engine they should be x-rayed and for the load on air craft wheels and tires while landing another good thought!

I guess I'm glad that tractors normally have all four on the ground!

I never had a tire pressue issue. When quickly removing deep wet snow with your front end loader, the turning radius is so tight that in deep snow, a tight turn at a good clip, would dislodge the tires right off the rims. Tubes helped to resolve that problem. Never had a tire pressure issue. You guys need to look at those photos........the weakest teeth failed...........those with pre-existing fissures, while other teeth did not, even though worn severly.

I'd recommend those with a B Series tractor buy a matched set before they are 1000 dollars a set.
