Yah, I know this doesn't hold a candle to most of the projects here but it's simple and it works for me so I thought I'd show it off.

I love the 3 point telescopic stabilizers on my Kubota B2910. However, I never seem to have a convenient place to put the set-pins and hairpin cotters that are used in them when I'm attaching and removing implements.

Kubota has a place to put the lynch pins when they're not being used; I wish they would have done the same for the set-pins...

In the past they've ended up in my pocket where I have to dig them out when I need them again. And if I drop a hairpin in the weeds they're hard to find.

So I got four sections of chains, a chain link and some swivel clips and attached a chain to the split ring on the set-pins with a quick-link and swivel clip at the other end, and another short section from the split ring on the set-pin to the hairpin cotters so they're attached together. The swivel clip attaches to the split ring on the 3 point lift arm links.

Now, nothing gets dropped on the ground or lost! I can just drop the set-pins and hairpins yet they stay attached, and I just grab the chain to pull them up again. And the short section of chain makes it easy to pull the hairpin cotter out of the set-pin as well.

Seems like a good application of the K.I.S.S. principal /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif Wish I had the telescoping lower arms, I have the turn buckle type which are a minor pain (until I put on a quick hitch, now it's a moot point).

Yes, very real problem. I did the same thing on mine but attached the chain to the lower pin on the lift links rather than the upper.

I like your approach better. I found that when brush hogging the branches etc would rip the chains off. Your approach leaves less hanging below the water line. I'll try it.
