It has been awhile since my last post about replacing the loader arm frame on my B3030. Well it has taken this long to get the frame in to my dealer. It finally arrived from Georgia via truck Freight to my dealer on Wednesday afternoon. So the new assembly should be installed early next week and I will post the outcome then. I sure hope this takes care of it.

Well I got my B3030 back today with the new boom arm assembly in place and I hate to say that it did not fix it. My service rep seems to think its better but he also thought it was fixed the first time they brought it back after supposedly "adjusting" it. Being there are no adjustments I am not sure how they did that.
Anyway I am back to square one on this issue and I am not sure whats next.
I am quite disappointed and frustrated to say the least.
Not to mention every time I get my tractor back it seems to have a new dent or scratch in it from them not being careful.
Yeah Yeah I know its a tractor...but these dang these ain't cheap and when they take your brand new tractor with 52 hours on it and strip all the paint off the front of the frame from tying it down with chains and no protection it starts to bug you a bit.
Anyone have any suggestions on where to proceed from here?
I guess its time to contact the Kubota service rep again and see what he says. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I think its time to ask Kubota how it is going to make things right. IMO opinion this is a considerable defect because you are never going to be able to level out grade or pick up loose materials evenly. Furthermore, you may have other unforeseen issues if you try to run other front attachments such as a snow blower. Did Kubota ever put another loader/subframe on your tractor to determine whether the problem is with the loader or the sub frame? If it were me, I would demand another tractor and FEL because this obviously is a manufacturing defect that they (Kubota) have been unable to address. I'm interested in how Kubota responds to this situation, so keep TBN informed.

You can also remind the service rep that you have posted updates about this issue on a very popular tractor purchaser/user group on the internet and so far Kubota has a favorable image. However, if Kubota decided not to resolve this issue, you would also post that information, and based on that information, many potential Kubota tractor purchasers may decide they would rather have a red, blue, or green tractor. I hope you get this resolved.

I think you have a dealer problem as well as a loader problem.
Maybe if you bring up the paint damage the dealer will appreciate your effort and make it right, maybe.

How far off level is it at this point? What do you think is causing the problem? I gotta say, we have never had this problem on a Kubota before. It did happen about three months ago on a New Holland and I can attest to the fact that its a difficult issue to get worked out.

It could very well be a mis-made set of loader arms which have been replace or it could be the uprights or the frame mounts. The dealer needs to take some measurements and then go from there.

BTW, I assume that the air pressure have been checked in the tires. It is amazing how much difference the air pressure between the tires can change the angle of the loader.

Messick,

How did you resolve the problem on the New Holland?
I honestly do not know what is causing the problem and whats more painful is the time it takes to get anything done. It took almost two months just to get a loader frame in just to find out what I expected ...It didn't fix it. My service guy wasn't sure whether it would fix it either is the scary part.
I feel what they should have done was to take another complete loader they had in stock and replace the whole kit and kaboodle....It would have been faster and eliminated all aspects of the loader. If its not the loader obviously its in the tractor frame.
Do you think I am out of line to ask for another tractor at this point? I am just so tired of the back and forth and back and forth. You can go back to the beginning of this post to see all the links of prior posts and how long I have been dealing with this problem and trying to get it resolved.
The really hard part is in a few months this tractor needs to go to work and earn some money and I have really stressed this to my dealer many times...but I still feel I get this slow poke attitude. I just don't have time to keep messing with this all summer long. It just really burns me considering this is the third tractor purchase I have made from this dealer since 2003.
Any help you can give me is greatly appreciated for sure! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I think your totally right in more than one case.

Id demand a new tractor..and Id make sure that Kubota knew all the ins and outs of the whole deal...because its PLAIN to see that either your dealer is too stupid..OR too lazy to attempt to solve the problem. One elimination was to do as you sguuest and swap the whole loader to a totally different one...and if the bucket was still out of square...then the fault must lie in the subframe. Its aint rocket science..its sweat labor to get to the bottom of it all.

Sully,

Thanks for your reply...I felt my last post was a bit long winded but I can't even put into words my frustration.

I take it your B3030 is good and straight? I truly beleive this problem lies with the first run of the B3030. Mine was one of the first ones my dealer recieved. I should have known better then to get one of the first ones out. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

It seems like this is taken longer than needed. Its not terribly unusual for us to have to loosen some of the fittings on a NH loader, let everything level out, than remount it again. That can take care of minor leveling problems. The TZ with problems was another salesmens customer so i was not directly involved. I think it ended up getting a whole new loader. I don't see why that would be an issue. You would think they should have others setting around. Heck just the savings in freight costs would make that the first thing to try. I'd be suprised if the chassis was twisted, that would have been really visible when the engine and tranny was bolted into the frame.
