i know that you are not suppose to bypass the safety switches on a tractor and i am glad they are all there. a couple of days age i was about two miles from the house at the end of county road at a neighbors shed (which i was supposed to be. since i have had a stroke, i always shut the tractor down to get off and on the tractor so i won't bump any levers and cause any injury to myself, kind of a safety thing. any way, when i shut the b3200 down to get off to do something and got back on, it wouldn't start. i can't walk more than a couple of hundred yards, i tried every lever, switch i could think of. after about an hour of trying every lever and switch i could think of, i finally found the one that let it start. I'm also diabetic on insulin and had forgotten glucose tablets to keep from having a reaction.
one time at the house tractor wouldn't start after trying everything i couldn't start it. whent back to house and got on this form and finally found where someone had same problem. it was the hydrostatic go pedal safety switch which need to be lubed so it can easily slide forward and back. no slide and got stuck slightly forward and wouldn't start. no amount of moving safety switches would have gotten it started.
what I'm asking, is there some kind of jumper wire or something that will bypass everything and let me get it started and running in case it won't start away from home and no cell service so i can get it home to fix out why it won't start?
i used to cuss safety devices but now i think they are the for a good reason. i would like to be able to get home so i can fix problem.
i would appreciate any help. you can private message me if you don't want to post where everyone can see. i understand. i haven't got much help from dealer where i bought tractor from. i guess kind of a liability thing.
thanks ahead of time to every reading this an to those to help. i have been along time member also. thanks rob
