Dirt Moving B3300SU & Box Blade

   / B3300SU & Box Blade #31
I have the same problem with neighbors on our mile long road. They don't even try to crown the road and simply flatten it. Result: No run off and Huge pot-holes. To crown I simply raise or lower the right hand 3-point lift link to the arm. On both my Ford 3415 (47hp) and Kubota M9000 (90hp) the right hand lift link is adjustable. It allows me to tilt the box, scraper, rake or whatever almost 15 degrees if needed. For my 72" box blade I adjust the angle so its about 2-3" higher on one side. Then I just run up and down the road slowly working the gravel, soil, etc toward the center. We get lots of wash boarding on the gravel road out here in West Texas, so I need to be somewhat aggressive to clean those up. Going at a right angle to the washboard gets that done. For added down force I have chained three of the heaviest railroad ties I have across the width of the box blade. They are chained directly to the box blade frame. I also have an 8' three point yard rake that I use to crown the road in the same way. This is also very helpful to get rid of the large rocks that are out in this part of the world (they don't affect our Dodges or Toyotas, but the car drivers cry). When finished the center of the road is about 10 - 12" higher than the edge (road is ~25' wide). Good Luck!!

I pull a 550# Woods box blade with my New Holland 1720...
It is very similar in size to your Kubota and is a perfect match...
Get as heavy of a blade as you can afford...
5' is the right size...
