6000 was a tough no-frills tractor...had one. Very overbuilt. 6000E is 2WD version. If I were going to re-do one, I'd hold out for 4WD (6000). 4WD made huge difference in capability. Lack of water pump not that uncommon on older tractors...called thermo-syphon cooling...works on convection (hot water rises) to achieve circulation. Never had problem w/mine...just keep radiator clean and fan belt tight...

As for parts, another possible source is Western KY Salvage (West Kentucky Tractor Parts)

I don't think I am going to get it. It looks like it would be really easy to put way more money in it than what it would be worth. I re do like the the looks of the B6000D, they are pretty tough looking little tractors.
