B7100HST Capabilities

I am in need of a loader tractor to handle round and square bales up to 1200 LBS. There is a B7100HST tractor for sale locally with FEL. The current owner does not seem to know much about the capabilities of this tractor. Does the tractor have what it takes to move and stack that much weight up front? Thanks in advance!

No, that tractor is too small to consider using the front loader for round bales. It would be much more comfortable with half that weight, though it will probably lift more......

Specifications for a LA 300 loader that fits on a B7100 HST.

It may be able to roll a round bale around but not lift and stack.

The other problem with a B7100 is that it does not have power steering. With a full load, about 500# in the loader it takes a lot of effort to steer a B7100.

The B7100 is a great tractor but not nearly enough machine for handling round bales.
