B7335 light kit for the B2320

Thanks for the info. I will do some more looking when I am in the garage tomarow. Perhaps the wires are just hidden inside the loom from the factory. Have you looked to see if you have wires on the right side too for a work light. I am hoping that I have them on the left, as this would weork best for my work light.

Great idea!, I've not looked on the right side but will do just that next time I'm out in the shed

Thanks,
Steve

Steve,

Nice set up - really like the OEM work light on your B2320. I tried to find square shaped U-brackets but everywhere I checked they only had the rounded versions which wouldn't fit the square shaped ROPS. Ended up going with the Harbor Freight welding magnets to mount my ROPS lights.

The other issue for non TLB BX's is the low height of the ROPS - makes mounting regular sized lights under the ROPS impossible. I got some small square fog lights at Walmart for my BX1860. So far so good, but I might have to change over to a bracket mount if the magnets prove too weak.

Here's a few pics.

Farmall45,
I just checked the right side and there is NO connection for a light there. I suppose it's possible that Kubota has done some changes and yours could be on the right hand side. I would check it, if I were you.

Thanks,
Steve

Chris,
Thanks for the kind works. I never considered the the lower ROPS height on the BX to be a possible issue. I suppose a taller person may have problems with that type of setup. Is the light beam partially block by your head? Does Kubota sell an OEM aux light kit for the BX?

Thanks,
Steve

I believe Kubota sells a rear work light kit only. Not sure about OEM auxiliary forward ROPS lights. I haven't used them at night yet so I'm not sure how much blockage I'll experience. I can say that my ROPS lights are only inches above my head. I really wanted small round lights to mount on the sides of the ROPS but could only find driving lights in that size/shape and I wanted floods.

You are lucky to be so close to a great dealer. In the picture I had the ROPS folded to the first notch. This is because of my garage door and when working I put them fully upright. There is enough slack in the wire harness to allow for this.

Thanks,
Steve

Steve Thanks again for sharing all the info, I will tackle this in the spring as I dont plow yet w/ the tractor so wont be getting any seat time till them :(, great job!

Has anyone else run into this, My rear work light leads are wired to the right hand side of the tractor. Others have them wired to the left hand side. Why is my tractor different that everyone elses and the diagrams from Kubota?

Farmall-

You are not alone. The connections are under the right fender on my B2620. I just got done hooking up the kit myself. I did a couple of things different so that it would work better. I flipped the mounting bracket upside down. You want the hole that the light mounts to towards the rear of the tractor. I also unscrewed the light fixture from it's bracket and turned it around. This oriented the switch correctly (so it wasn't upside down). The other thing I did different was I snaked the wire down behind the ROPS. It looks better and there is a notch in the boot to help fit the wire through without bulging it. It mounts fine to the right side of the ROPS as you can see. I didn't even spend 30 minutes doing it. Requisite pictures attached.
