Anyone have experience with a B2781B Snowblower on a B7500 HSD-R with LA302 FEL? Specifically, does the Brace for the LA302 need to be removed from the tractor, to be able to mount and/or operate a B2781B with B2733A Male Quick Hitch and Subframe? The Brace is Item #4 in Figure G-5720A on Page 10 of the LA302 Operator's Manual.

Thank you, in advance, for any assistance!

It seems to me that it should not, but I have not seen the snow blower attachment that you're talking about. As I recall that brace is up six or eight inches from the top of the frame rail, so it should clear unless quick hitch frame enters that area. I don't see why Kubota would have done that, but stranger things have happened.

Thanks, for the reply Aczlan! I agree with your comment, but my dealer required me to remove both the Brace and the Mid Mount Mower Front Bracket Assembly last year, for them to install the Snowblower. Very happy with the Snowblower performance, but I missed having the FEL until Spring.

I have now successfully re-installed the Male Quick Hitch and Subframe, without having to remove the FEL Brace, nor even the Front Hanger Bracket Assembly for the Mid Mount Mower. Tight quarters, but don't see any actual interference. Really pleased, as this will allow me to use the FEL for non-snow related tasks during snow season with minimal disassembly/assembly effort. Haven't mounted snowblower yet, so reserving the big smile until it is on and tested.

From Original Poster - Ok, Snowblower is now on and has been in operation several times. However, I did go back and remove the Front Hanger Bracket Assembly for the Mid Mount Mower. I found that everything fit, although just barely, but I was not able to to get my body and hands into the right position to attach the pto collar to the pto mid shaft. I just could not pull back on the collar and push it onto the mid shaft, at the same time. So, about a 90% BIG SMILE! :)
