My
B8200 doesn't pull hi-range very well on a hill. Mid range or low-range is fine. Even with lower traction turf tires, I can stall the tractor before the tires spin; it is only a 19hp after all. Also, I believe the
B8200 is heavier than other 19hp tractors; the tractor alone is 1590lbs. The BF300 loader for a
B8200 is 617lbs. A scraper has to be at least 300lbs. You've got a 19hp motor pushing around 2500lbs before you even try to load or scrape something.
The first thing I would do is check, and probably just for good measure replace, the hydraulic fluid. At the same time, replace the filters and clean the screens.
Next I would make sure the air filter, dust cup, and radiator "screen shield" are clean. If it is getting hot, you may be losing power. The book says the radiator screen should be cleaned every 5 hours, the dust cup every day if used in dusty conditions. I have noticed a power loss because of a dirty radiator screen.....
Then... Check, clean, and/or replace the fuel filter.
Another thing to try is draining the tank and running some fresh, known clean diesel in it. Maybe you got some funky fuel.
Make sure you push the "cut-out" knob ALL the way back in, making certian that it seats all the way. I have fired mine up with the knob out just a tiney bit. There was no power at all. Make sure the compression release is completely closed too.
How is your exhaust? Is it blowing lots of black smoke? You may need the injectors cleaned.
Here is info directly from the owners manual:
1) Air Cleaner and/or Fuel filter is dirty - Clean and/or replace element every 100-200 hours
2) Carbon around orrifice of nozzle piece - clean orifice and needle valve. Check nozzle; replace if necessary
3) Compression is insufficient - Bad valve and excessive wear of rings cause insufficient compression(note: Niether the owners manual nor the Service manual offer any engine specs, tear down info, ect)
4) Fuel is insufficeint - Check fuel system
5) Overheating of part - Check lube system. Check to see if lube filter is working. Filter screens deposited with impurities; clean screens. Check bearing clearances. Check engine timing.
6) Valves out of adjustment; adjust to proper valve clearance
7) Fuel pressurse is wrong; adjust to proper pressure, see Kubota dealer.
