I have a probelm with my b8200
When i start it... it makes a seeeeee sound and i keep the key turning its starts...i think i should leave like that what do u think????

Does it make the sound while the engine turns over, or just when you turn the key to "on"? If it's while the engine is turning over, you may have a bad bearing in the starter.

How long do you use the glow plugs?
Does it make the sound when starting cold, hot, or both?

Why dont you take it in too the dealer they will fix it...
2000 are not old....

Does the squeeeeeel go away once it starts? If so, it's something simple inside your starter. That should be cheap to have fixed. Around these parts, there's a couple of electric motor places that'll rebuild a car starter for about $75.00.

The B8200 was made mid 80's, so it's not very old. Mine only has 750 hours so far... Now my '41 Farmall, that's starting to get a little old...

I've dreamed of having some extra bucks some day. If I were to get another tractor, it'd be a Deere 4300, or Kubota B2910. Both are basically the same size as the B8200, but have oodles more power.

The BX2200 looks real nice, but if I switched, I'd like the extra ponies.
