The horses are real bad about trying to steal Oscar's food, and sometimes, just eating the metal trim on his house. I've pretty much given up on trying to stop them, if they are not eating it, the scratch on it or just bump into everything. If figure a gutter is a small price to pay.

Buy some habaner peppers turn them into paste and rub it on the metal trim and they might do it twice just to confirm but won't happen again... yes kind of rude but it won't kill them just a little hot lesson

Rumor has it that they can live to be 20 years old, but they also never stop growing and I think his size will probably be the death of him before then.

Oscar is huge now. Maybe a walking exercise program? I used to walk my show wethers to keep the fat off them. Keep them trim and in show condition.
