Even if you don't find the instructions for the slip clutch in the manual....you NEED to do it. Thats partially how I broke my JD 2305 also ensure you cut the PTO shaft to the correct size. Don't leave it to long. The instructions are not very good. Check on youtube for "everything attachments". Ted has a great video on how to properly measure the pto shaft and cut it.

I also bought the KK Tiller but at TSC in ND. Great deal. But await till you use it. That thing is AWESOME.:licking: My John deere 647 tiller can't hold a candle to it. In Canada the new JD 647 cost $2700-3300CAD I paid $1500USD for the KK. Sad thing is the KK is way way better. Just store it indoors if your worried about the rust, some say the paint isn't very good.

Mine gear cases were empty I think I put in just over 2 Litres in so I have the partial 3 rd to top off if needed. Walmart has the exact oil weight spec, but they have two different products, each with their own heat ratings. The brand is ROTELLA.

CHEERS!!!:drink:

Ya the paint sucks big time. Sloppy, drippy and a million stone chips. Looks like it was in the yard for a winter and they blowed the snow and gravel at it.
It's pretty heavy duty though. It will stay on the tractor 95% of the time. At 700lbs it's the perfect ballast box.
The pto shaft that came with it was a short one. It didn't have to be cut. It has about 5" slip left in all positions. But ya, teds videos are great.

I've bought several things from Rosseels, great place to shop and great folks to deal with.
I also have a KK2 tiller, been sitting in my garage in it's pallet for the last year....

Assuming yours is the 5'?

Is their prices good enough to make a 300 mile trip just to visit?

No price would make me drive that far just for a visit. I would research what you need and price it out. Then decide if it's worth the visit

I am only 5 miles from them. If there is something in mind let me know I can take photo's and get prices (I always hang out- kid in candystore). I know some of the guys that work there. Bought my 2nd BX Loader bucket and LP 48" Box blade last December. Got my 60" KK Back Blade last September from them (Less than TSC sale prices).
Then you can make the trip. Bring extra $$ as you always see something walking the yard. (ex. 8" BH bucket in a dumpster full of buckets, etc...)

Perhaps you're referring to my distance (or yours?) from Rosseels....actually I used to live abut 10 miles away from them, so bought several items when I lived in MI. I would check prices in your area then check with them. There are 2 owners, Joe and Bernie.....I always dealt with Bernie, great guy. And the offer from Gary can't be beat!!
