The more 'powerful' they are, the more stress they put on a subframe or the rear case. Simple geometry. Knowing JD, I'm pretty sure they didn't build it either but bought it from an existing manufacturer and painted it green, just like they do with Kuhn rakes.
Had a buddy that purchased a Kubota hoe for his 37 series Kubota and promptly broke the rear case. Kubota warranted it the first time. Second time, he ate it.
You'll never find any backhoe on the back of my M9's. If I need a trench dug, I go rent a mini hoe from Black Swamp rentals or I get one of my customers to dig it.
