Back Up camera

Thanks, David!
That looks really nice! I assume it's been holding up well during rain and other inclement weather?

I prefer not to work in the rain . So only rain would be driving back to tractor shed. Everything pretty much covered.

Thanks Buck. Located a bit more forward would help with loader.
I also keep thinking I’ll paint QA for better visibility.

Interesting thread here. I was looking at a camera a few weeks ago.
What I've been wondering is whether a 4 or 5" screen is large enough to be useful. My cab is a soft cab on my BX and I take it off for summer. I was thinking about mounting the monitor from the roof so it would be out of the way. I had spotted a 7" monitor setup with camera for about $40, but it had a couple bad reviews. Need to look at thread s219 mentions.

Ray, that might be ok just for general observation, that is close to my split screen view. But even 1080 resolution and full screen doesn’t replace actually looking for me. Still useful and saves my neck a bit.

CTGoldWing,
Do you have pics of where you mounted your cams?
Thanks, B.

I bought a single camera to use with my Woodland Mills WG24 stump grinder. I temporarily mount the camera down low on the 3 pt hitch arm so it clearly shows me the grinder as it is engaging the stump. It's more difficult to see it from the seat and I'm not as young as I use to be so sitting in the seat, looking over my shoulder for many hours, isn't all that much fun. The camera makes it a lot easier.

My monitor has a 7" TFT LCD display and I wouldn't want to use a smaller one.

I have a $70 unit from Amazon and love it. I have not put it on the back as I have an inverted blower but on the front to make lining up for the SSQA stuff easier and for using the pallet forks, and tree/post puller. I use magnets so I can move the camera where I want it and between attachments.

If it breaks, cheap enough to replace.
