I should add, Woods has a subframe but still employs the top link hole (with heavier top link ) It surely is not stout like a Bradco. Also, the entire 3 pt arms need to be removed to mount the backhoe. I am used to it, but I can see it driving some people bonkers.

I wouldn't know if the sub frame fits until I get it back here. I would think the 6500 would fit since it's the model my tractor calls for and the 7500 would probably have to be modified which is no big deal. I'm a pretty Good fabricator and welder. According to the specs on both the 7500 would give me only 16" more of reach but it is 1,000 cheaper than the 6500 shown

Two more pieces I can add. There is a bracket bolted to the middle of the tractor, that the front of the Woods subframe pins to. Although this bracket is tied into the loader, there are 2 bolts that go upside down into the tractor. We had problems with these bolts stripping out. Also the subframe hangs down quite a bit. Just fyi you need long loading ramps. All in all though it is a decent digger, never had any issues with it.

Yeah removing the 3pt hitch will be a pain for me because I use the tractor with a brush hog and tiller and I'm sure putting this thing on and taking off by myself is not going to be an easy task

As long as you can use the hydraulics of the backhoe to change its angle/positioning it shouldn't be too bad to get it lined back up.

I am lucky in that i got my backhoe tractor for a song (non running, partially disassembled under the hood and majorly disassembled backhoe) after i already had my other, first tractor. Even though loaders and backhoes come off and some even claim to be 'quick attach' id really prefer not to ever take either thing off other than if they are in the way during some necessary repair. But i have the luxury of plenty of space for 'tractor parking' and buying broken stuff cheap, so having more than one machine is feasible.

You're probably going to love having a backhoe regardless of which one you end up with.

I'm going to look at a BH7500 this weekend. Don't think it has a pto pump so how would I add auxiliary hydraulic lines to rear on the B1550

Picking this up Saturday. Got it for $3,500.00 hope I'm not making a mistake. Everyone here says go for it, Facebook tractor page says its too heavy lol. The bh6500 I looked at with a pto pump and Reservoir is the same weight as the 7500 without the pump and Reservoir

Which model is that?

Let us know how it turns out.

Some Kubotas. Not all, offer a heavy duty top link bracket. To better distribute the weight. I looked into when my father got his 9000 backhoe but the bracket wasn't available for his model.
