Hello folks. I am about to take delivery on a new 2305(200CX, 62C MMM, iMatch, 48''FrontierBoxScrape, 647 JD Tiller).

I figured I would ask the dealer what my options on a dealer installed BH would be. He recommended a Tifermec made in Italy. Anyone have any experience with these or maybe how it compares to a Woods BH?

BTW, I promise I'll add to the new 2305 pictures list when it gets here.

Another new 2305 owner and ex-lurker.

Thanks for the welcome, JDFANATIC!

If anyone's interested they are on the web at Tifermec .

So far I see that the digging depth is a bit less than the Woods one, 59'' to Woods 72''. Being new to tractor equipment, all I can do is compare specs but digging depth seems pretty important. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Thyanks for the link. You don't mention the model your dealer is recommending, but I'm guessing he means the L Series BH's. In the specs, the 18 Tix has a digging depth of 1800 mm (my math puts that at 70.8"). Is that the one? /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I don't know anything about that hoe. I can tell you what I know about the Woods BH6000. Let me know if you have specific questions.

Your math is spot on. Sorry, I didn't have the model and I made an assumption on the wrong model. He tells me the model is the BA22 with a depth of 90''. He's asking 5750 installed with a 12'' bucket( even though I dont see one listed). I usually lean towards American made and this is one more reason. Having to convert to metric fries my brain. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I have never heard of the Tifermec before - that looks like a pretty slick unit though - it has 180 degree rotation (the Woods only has 140 I believe) and the ability to sideshift the backhoe would come in very useful in some situations where the standard style Woods would be having more trouble (like digging up next to a house).

Does your dealer import them and does he have some pricing? Which model is he referring to that will fit on your 2305? I am curious because I wonder if these would also fit on a Kubota BX series.
