Did you clean that up with hand tools before you snapped that pic!?

My neighbor was digging a well for his son's new home and when he placed the first tile in the hole the tool used for lifting the tiles in jammed. His son went down in to un-jam the tool and the well caved in on top of him, took several hours to dig his body out. A horrible mistake to live with forever after.

Did some field clearing today. Yanked about a dozen 'pebbles' and a couple of apple tree stumps. Had a good time despite the black flies and the wicked sunburn I got on my thighs (first outdoor shorts day this spring). This was my first real test of this hoe. I was satisfied. Certainly no comparison to the dearly departed Case 680 but acceptable and exceeded my worried expectations.
