You're right Swampvol! I plan to get a BH and have wondered about the process. I bookmarked this thread. Thanks TXdon!

11. Disconnect hydraulic hoses on the following manner: (1.) Disconnect the inlet and outlet from the tractor. (2.) Connect tractor's outlet hose to the coupler of return hose.

One thing TXDon forgot to mention...make sure the tractor is turned off before disconnecting the hoses!!!

TXDon made that point very clear in step 9

I was thinking I might need a picture of my hand on the key on step nine to be consistent or someone might miss it.;)
I take the hoe off and on about every 6 months and still have to go step by step from the manual. The BH has been preforming flawlessly, except that one time it hit the water line.

I find that get the backhoe off is much easier that putting it back on. When I raise it up with the stabilizers, it wants to move to one side or the other. One stabilizer stays put and the other slides in as I am raising the hoe. The thing that ticks me off, is it is never consistent.

I use "cribbing" to keep the hoe in the raised position. When I need to reinstall the hoe,I need only to back into it and start the installation process

I thought about just sliding a floor jack under it when I go to put it back on. I'll try that next time.

Good tutorial. Same procedure for B26 backhoe. The only aspect I have some trouble with is getting the pins out. Finding the "sweet" spot that releases the pins has been a challenge for me. As you say, raising the rear wheels doesn't work.
