I have a sub frame for the backhoes on my Mahindra and Kioti. I have had the Mahindra stuck so bad I had to pick up the tractor with the backhoe and keep moving the tractor to turn it around 180 degrees. I am not sure I could have done that with a 3PH unit.

A lot depends on how much you want to use it and the type of soils.

I use the backhoe the most and the soils are clay with a lot of rocks.

I can't tell you if I would have a problem with a MMM as I have a rear finnish mower.

talk with a dealer, see what they tell you.
There going to know if there will be a mounting problem.

What year tractor & backhoe do you have? I have a Woods 7500 on my B2910, bought both in 2000. The sub-frame on the backhoe attaches to a bracket added to the loader frame. This bracket remains on the tractor when the backhoe is removed. It is this bracket that had interference issues with mid-mount mowers.

I heard a rumor a few years back that they were redesigning the subframes but never heard anything else about it.

Are you saying that when the backhoe subframe is removed, there is no additional bracket remaining on the tractor?

For what it's worth, I have a separate pump on my system. I think I can usually get the pump on or off faster than I could connect quick connects.

Thanks for the response. A pic would be great! No rush, as I'm happy with my set-up and the bracket's interference with a mid-mount mower wasn't an issue for me as I didn't need a mower.

Still, it sounds like Woods made an improvement to the way the sub-frame attaches to the tractor.
