Well the verdict is in, the GoPro is pretty much useless for what I'm trying to do. The problem is that the trailers I'm trying to backup up block the wifi signal from the GoPro and I lose my connection. It works great if I backup something short like the manure spreader, but I don't need a backup camera for that because I can see over it. The wifi signal on the gopro must be pretty weak and the metal sides of the trailer block the signal.
